Telluride Mushroom Festival
Since 1981, the Telluride Mushroom Festival has been bringing in the best mycologists to speak on psychedelic research, decriminalization, and how to cultivate your own mushrooms. We are stewards of education that all humans should know about our mycelial friends. We are a family bonded around mushrooms.
The Telluride Mushroom Festival is a can’t miss event happening every August in Telluride, Colorado made up of unique talks, special events and dinners, forays and of course THE PARADE.

Pikes Peak Mycology Society
Pikes Peak Mycological Society (PPMS) was founded in 1974 by Athalie “Lee” Barzee (1924-2015), for the purpose of the identification and study of mushrooms. PPMS is an affiliate member of the North American Mycological Association (NAMA), a non-profit organization of professional and amateur mycologists with approximately 80 affiliated mycological societies throughout the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
PPMS is a non-profit group for people who love and want to learn more about the mysterious mushroom- the third leg of life on earth. We say ‘mysterious’ because, while our knowledge of flora and fauna is extensive, we know very little about fungi. We need to get busy, friends- there’s a lot of work to do!
2023 OMS Fall Mushroom Show
Join us for the annual Oregon Mycological Society Fall Mushroom Show where you can see beautifully displayed specimens from around the region and talk to mushroom experts. There will be vendors, books for sale, mushroom cooking samples, speakers and more! (The OMS Fall Mushroom Show is open to the public.)
